Surgical Dental Assistant

Job Summary

We are in need of 2 surgical chair side assistants who must be well trained in implants.  If this is you, please apply. Responsibilities and Duties

Team player who:

 

  • Room set up
  • Clean and disinfect all equipment and working surfaces
  • Provide chair side assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
  • Care and welfare of patients in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
  • Handle all substances in accordance with Health and Safety policies
  • Complete laboratory request forms
  • Stocking rooms
  • Knowledge of all emergency algorithms, medications and equipment
  • Able to take x-rays:  panorex and periapicals

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Applicable licenses, certifications, degrees, diplomas, and at least 1 year of dental experience 
  • Oral surgery background preferred
